Research standards
Evidence you can follow.
Limits you can understand.
Useful research explains how it reached a finding and where the evidence stops.
Start with identifiable sources
Dani begins with DataNexus and draws on relevant external sources. Depending on the brief, these can include company filings, insolvency records, regulatory material, published reporting and information your firm agrees to provide.
Keep research and checking separate
Research, drafting and checking are separate steps. Material findings are traced to sources, and the answer is checked for gaps, contradictions and unsupported claims before delivery.
Explain conflicting information
Company records and other sources can disagree or describe different points in time. The research should explain those differences and identify what remains unresolved.
Distinguish a connection from a conclusion
A shared address or directorship is a starting point for investigation. Its relevance depends on the surrounding evidence. The report should make that context clear.
Be clear about the limits
Research depends on the sources available at the time. A report is a dated assessment, and an absence of findings does not establish that no risk exists. Dani supports your work; your firm retains the final judgement and any professional responsibilities.
Discuss your requirements
We agree the research scope and any use of your firm’s information with you. If your work has specific confidentiality, security or compliance requirements, talk to us before sharing sensitive material.
